Leesport Area Historical Society, Museum Open House at 128 Main Street, Leesport. Tour the 4-room schoolhouse which served the Leesport Community from 1858 until 1961. Our featured speaker today is Mr. James Beidler, who was president of the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors and the former executive director of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, among positions with other organizations. His presentation will begin at 1:00 pm. This is a free event, open to the public.
