Leesport Area Historical Society, Museum Open House at 128 Main Street, Leesport. Tour the 4-room schoolhouse which served the Leesport Community from 1858 until 1961. Mr. James Beidler was president of the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors, and the former executive director of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, among positions with other organizations.
