LAHS Museum Open House

Visit the 1858 Schoolhouse which served the community until 1961. Experience a circa 1940’s/50’s classroom and museum with area/regional artifacts, including a 1750’s Quaker Marriage Certificate. Quilting and history enthusiast, Judy Bauer, will be present with her 200 year-old handmade signature quilt from the Maidencreek Quaker Meeting House. Some signatures include such family names as Parvin, Lee, and Lightfoot. Judy will be available for Q&A and will share the story of her incredible find.
