Dexter Mengel, Secretary of the Leesport Area Historical Society and President of the Berks Heritage Council, will narrate a PowerPoint presentation on the History of Leesport at the Berks County Heritage Center in Bern Township at 2PM on July 9th in the lower level of the Heister Canal Museum (the barn). The presentation will include many rare images from the LAHS archives with talking points from someone who was actually born and raised in Leesport.
