    Leesport Area Historical Society, Museum Open House at 128 Main Street, Leesport. Tour the 4-room schoolhouse which served the Leesport Community from 1858 until 1961. Mr. James Beidler was president of the International Society of Family History Writers and Editors, and the former executive director of the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania, among positions with other organizations. His presentation will begin at 11:00 am. This is a free event, open to the public. Browse our museum to see local artifacts and our restored classroom. Venture to the Leesport Lock House which is having an Open House at the same time. Bring the whole family!
