    Dexter Mengel, Secretary of the Leesport Area Historical Society and President of the Berks Heritage Council, will narrate a PowerPoint presentation on the History of Leesport at the Berks County Heritage Center in Bern Township at 2PM on July 9th in the lower level of the Heister Canal Museum (the barn). The presentation will include many rare images from the LAHS archives with talking points from someone who was actually born and raised in Leesport.

    Please join us at Bethany E.C. Church, 308 Main Street, Leesport. Business meeting is at 7:30 pm and program is at about 8:00 pm. Instead of our usual speaker program, tonight we will have a “Historical Show and Tell” program after our business meeting.

    The meeting is open to the public. Parking lot and entrance in the back of the church. Donations are accepted.
