Leesport Area Historical Society

Please join us on Monday, March 25, 7:00 PM; at Bethany EC Church, 308 Main St. Leesport where Paul Miller, local historian, will present a slide presentation which will provide a glimpse into the scenery and historic sites of the Hudson Valley including the historic Mohonk Mountain House resort, FDR’s home in Hyde Park, the Vanderbilt estate, Eleanor Roosevelt’s retreat and the early history of the Sleepy Hollow area and Tarrytown including the Lyndhurst Estate, Phillipsburg Manor, Van Cortland estate and Washington Irving’s home.

Our annual flower sale is a great opportunity to get some beautiful plants and arrangements for gift giving as well as helping our organization raise funds. You will see our tent display by Steve Moyer Suburu’s Collision Center at Route 61 and Apple Street in Leesport.
