LAHS Mission Statement:
A. To foster deeper understanding and appreciation for Leesport history, including the communities of the Schuylkill Valley School District;
B. To stimulate and encourage the collection, preservation, and interpretation of the Leesport Area history through conferences, publications, awards, educational programs, consulting services, and related historical activities;
C. To coordinate and further the programs of the area's other historical societies and local historians, functioning as a service organization and communication network;
D. To cooperate with appropriate individuals, organizations, and institutions on the local, state, or national levels in projects and activities that will promote and sustain a general interest in history; and
E. To accept donations of money, real property, or other property for the above purposes.
